The Baisakhi festival, also known as the Vaisakhi, is celebrated every year in the month of April. Although Baisakhi is mainly a festival of the Hindu-Sikh communities, people of Islam also actively participate in the celebration. The Baisakhi is not only a festival to mark the Sikh new year or the harvest season, but also it marks the last Khalsa organized by the Guru Gobind Singh in 1966. To learn the cultural value. The students celebrated the festival of Baisakhi in high spirits. Well-planned activities to acquaint the students with this harvest festival were carried out in the classrooms at all the class levels. The objective of this activity was to acquaint students about Baisakhi and its significance in our culture and to engage them in the celebration of a harvest festival. The young future citizens celebrated Baisakhi with zeal, dancing to Punjabi folk songs.The students also learnt about the observance of this festival in certain foreign lands.
